She studied embroidery to Degree level at University.
Inspired by mothers and how they use cloth to protect and shelter their children.
White,much present in her work,symbolises the purity in the relationship between mother and child.

It is such a treasure to read in her blog, her new ideas and how they develop, you can feel excitement if she is
going into that new idea.

 "For centuries women have used cloth as a tool of comfort and as an expression of beauty within their homes. Creating cloth for warmth, cloth for shelter, our female predecessors embellished these linens with hand stitich using laborious and time consuming techniques thereby enhancing the functional beauty of objects which enveloped and protected their families. Inspired by these women I hope my creations pay tribute to and recognise the devotion expressed in cloth by our female ancestors."
