For almost 6 days I stayed in bed at home. Fever...no not Peggy Lee..a viral infection..flu.
The only thing I could do was filling my Pinterest board For me the best remedy to stay in bed and rest. At the moment I feel like I'm the elephant above my head is spinning around, wants to do a lot of things but my body is not cooperating. But hey I'm not complaining,I made a lot of new friends on facebook. Luckily, a few weeks ago my computer crashed and I bought a laptop. ...
Still have to be quiet a little bit otherwise I have to cough uncontrollably. Hmm, cannot wait to   feel cured......to clean up the house :-)

  3. being ill is really crappy hey especially the cold/flu things I hate the getting over it period the most. Now if you have to feel like an elephant that has to be the one to feel like right? I love how its defying gravity..... pinterest is almost an illness in itself at the very least an addiction I resisted for as long as I could. That last image is lovely why is it the most simple things are the best? 2 strokes of a brush and you have a heavenly image that can be looked at over and over again.
I really hope that you feel better soon.

    Helen :)

    1. Hello Helen, nice to read your peace! Today my elephant was flown..but my addiction Pinterest stays :-)
About the last image...I'm always surprised how the minimalist paintings grabb me. But that has grown about the last years,in my early days I never looked at them..strange???

    2. I know I was the same when I was younger I found it hard to connect with abstract art it always felt remote and self indulgent. It was the 80s and all about the message political and otherwise. Thankfully nowadays I can embrace the idea that art can just be appreciated as it has manifested. My turning point was Pollacks "Blue Poles" I couldnt take my eyes off it. It was mesmerising and I was greatly affected by it.

You are sounding a little more recovered in your commenting a bit more upbeat. I hope this is so.

      :)

    3. Yes,indeed! I don't know which work triggered me. I think I became slowly more attracted or involved...but I still can enjoy the figurative works. It is both, now.

Yes,Helen I feel more recovered, still have a treatment with medicines but I'm glad to jump out of my bedroom!
